GILPIN Darren (Daz) (Edinburgh) Very suddenly, on July 6, 2014, whilst on holiday in the Killin area, on Loch Tay, with his long term partner Elaine, cousin Stewart and friends Jade and Danny, who fought vigorously to save his life. A devoted one and only son to Kevin and Carol, very sorely missed and much loved grandson to Joan, nephew, cousin and uncle to Kaiden and Lewis. Darren will be hugely missed by his very many friends and workmates. Funeral service will be held in St Philips Church, Abercorn Terrace, Joppa, Portobello, on Wednesday, July 16, at 1.30 pm, thereafter to Portobello Cemetery for 2.30 pm, to which all family and friends are welcome. Our positive and ray of sunshine is lost but never forgotten.

SWAIN Norma MacKinnon (nee Love) (Leith / Tranent) Suddenly, but peacefully, our lovely Norma passed away, in her beloved Spain, on July 5, 2014, much loved and loving darling wife of Chris and adored and adoring mum to Lucy, cherished and loving daughter of Betty and special sister and best friend of Shirley, loved sister-in-law to Stephen, Hazel, Alan, Ronnie and partners and step-mum to Jonathan, much loved aunty to all her nephews and nieces and a funny, loyal, caring friend to many. Sadly missed by her friends and colleagues at Scottish Widows. Service to be held at Seafield Crematorium, on Friday, July 18, at 11 am, committal thereafter at Seafield Cemetery, at 11.45 am, to which all are respectfully invited.
